RAFAEL GALLO PALOMO
Rafael Gallo- Founder of Rios Tropicales in 1985, graduated as an Industrial Engineer from University of Tennessee where he was exposed to whitewater rivers, rock faces and the great outdoors.  Explored many of Costa Rica’s watersheds and claimed several first descents.  Has kayaked and rafted rivers in every continent of the world, Vice president and founder of the International Rafting Federation.  Is very active on the conservation of Costa Rican rivers, has also developed river rafting in Argentina, Colombia, El Salvador and Jamaica.

Has represented Costa Rica in over ten world championships and coached the Tico team in Barcelona Olympics.  Co-writer of “The Rivers of Costa Rica”, member of New York’s prestigious Explorers Club, Board member of America Outdoors, nonstop project creator.

VICTOR GALLO PALOMO
Victor Gallo- Graduated in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University, pioneered sea kayaking in Costa Rica in 1987, paddling the complete Pacific coast from north to south, opened the first and foremost bungee jumping operation in Latin America, Tropical Bungee, developed rock climbing at a higher level and was the first to introduce professional climbing equipment to Costa Rica through part of his creation Centro de Aventura.  Opened the first climbing gym in the country and has judged in X Games, Marlboro Adventure Team and Camel Whitewater Challenge.  Has promoted and organized competitions in rafting, surf kayaking, rock climbing and paragliding.  Has rigged cable systems and stunts for movies, theater, and sports events.
